A bassinet is a convenient and comfortable sleeping environment for your baby during the first few months than a cot. A great advantage of a bassinet is that they are a portable baby bed which can be moved from one room to another, letting you keep a close watch on your sleeping baby at any part of the house.
At night, you can put the bassinet close to your bed for easy middle-of-the-night feedings and comforting.
Your baby will probably outgrow their bassinet by 3 – 4 months old, or as soon as babies can support their own weight. As soon as the child is able to do so, you should move your child into a baby cot as soon as they are able to lift themselves up.
